To secure the examination process, human proctors will supervise the examinees remotely with the assistance of artificial intelligence systems. Only a fixed number of examinees in accommodated per test day to ensure proper monitoring.

The Commission on Higher Education wishes to remind all concerned to conduct the necessary due diligence before enrolling and engaging with any degree granting institutions, both local and foreign, to ensure the recognition by the CHED of qualifications to be awarded by said institutions.

The public is hereby advised to first verify the status of international HEIs and its accredited/recognized programs, whether in a physical campus or through distance education, with the CHED International Affairs Service, pursuant to its mandate as the clearing house of information on the Philippine higher education system, comparability of higher education programs, degrees and diplomas obtained from other countries, in order to be better protected from unscrupulous and predatory education providers.

Medical education is now more accessible to students in Visayas and Mindanao as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) approved the application for government authority to operate the Doctor of Medicine program of two (2) new compliant state universities and colleges (SUCs) – Bohol Island State University (BISU) in Tagbilaran, Bohol and University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), Cagayan de Oro City.
